Skilled migrants who want to live and work in Australia are eligible to several different temporary, provisional, and permanent visas. Most of them allow invited skilful candidates (that comply with what is required by the Australian Government) to travel and live either temporarily or permanently in Australia.

This visa is exclusively for invited skilled workers and New Zealand citizens with prescribed occupations, to live and work permanently anywhere in Australia.

This visa allows skilled workers with prescribed occupations who were nominated by an Australian State or Territory to live and work in Australia as permanent resident visa holders.

This visa is suitable for skilled workers with prescribed occupations who were nominated by an Australian state or territory government, or by a family member who is an Australian citizen, Australian permanent resident, or eligible New Zealand citizen, to live and work in regional Australia. This visa provides a pathway to permanent residency for its visa holders through the upcoming Subclass 191 visa.

Subclass 858 is a permanent visa for those who have obtained an internationally recognised record of exceptional and outstanding achievement in an eligible field.
