A number of visa subclasses require a positive skills assessment for migration purposes. A skills assessment is a verification of overseas formal qualifications and employment in order to ensure that an applicant complies with the Australian standards for a respective occupation.

In order to obtain a positive skills assessment, an applicant will be required to meet the criteria set by the skills assessment authority prescribed by the Department of Home Affairs for the relevant occupation.

Our team at Healy Daloia verifies the eligibility and assists and prepares the relevant application to the prescribed authority, including:

  • Vocational Education and Training Assessment Services (VETASSESS)
  • Trades Recognition Australia (TRA)
  • Australian Computer Society (ACS)
  • Architects Accreditation Council of Australia (AACA)
